Alzheimer’s disease: Clinical assessment and endpoints

This module summarizes key aspects of the clinical assessment of Alzheimer’s disease including the assessment of cognition, functionality and neuropsychiatric symptoms, as well as understanding clinical endpoints.

Precisely, the module provides relevant information on early detection and mild cognitive impairment, and the clinical assessments of cognitive complaints and impairments in functional ability. Neuropsychiatric symptoms and their assessment are described followed by an overview of simple detection tools for cognitive and functional impairment.
