Alzheimer’s disease: Detection and management of ARIA

This module outlines key slides on Amyloid‐Related Imaging Abnormalities (ARIA) mechanism of disease, its clinical relevance and how it can be identified and managed in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

Mainly, the working hypothesis of ARIA mechanism of disease is described with supporting evidence from pre‐clinical and clinical studies. A more detailed review is also provided on ARIA-H and ARIA‐E and risk factors for ARIA. Lastly, information is presented on the identification of ARIA, experience from clinical trials and real‐world implications.
